Lounging Around the World: The Enchanted Rose

Today we are taking a look at one of my favorite Resort Lounges over at the Grand Floridian: The Enchanted Rose.

As you may have guessed this elegant lounge, located just above the lobby on the second floor of the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, is based off of the classic story of Beauty and the Beast. The special touches and hidden details around the lounge are reminiscent of the live action movie from 2017 making it a stunning place to relax after a long park or resort day.

I have been lucky enough to come to the Enchanted Rose several times now and the service is always top notch! The Enchanted Rose shares a kitchen with Citrico's and offers some great dining, or in our case dessert, options. As always, Disney does a great job taking care of special dietary or allergy requests making everyone feel safe and welcome. Two out of the three members of our party had special dietary needs and they had allergy friendly menus available as well as the ability to check in with the chef about any concerns. We always appreciate the extra care Disney takes in this regard!

We ended our night here so we came in for drinks and dessert. Special shout out to cast member Harper who snuck our dessert order in right before the kitchen closed! I have to recommend the chocolate torte, which was absolutely devine! We also tried the creme brûlée which was fantastic too. I have come in the past and the appetizers are top notch as well.

The drinks menu is fabulous as well with a French flair there is a little something for everyone. My personal go to is the espresso martini.

This lounge has a great amount of space from the bar, to more traditional tables, to comfy couches and alternative seating spaces where you can have a drink, a meal, or just a chat with friends. We enjoyed looking for some Beauty and the Beast themed Easter Eggs hidden around the lounge while we waited for our drinks. The best part is that it is a short monorail or ferry ride from Magic Kingdom. It would be a great place to take a late afternoon or evening break from the parks. All in all, I don't think this fabulous lounge gets the amount of love it deserves and is definitely worth a stop on your next trip!
